All volunteers should adhere to the following rules and regulations when visiting the Shanghai Children Medical Center:

Volunteer Rules and Regulations

1.Volunteers with infectious or potentially harmful illnesses or diseases (cold, flu, hepatitis) that may be harmful to the children may not attend volunteer projects.

2. Each playroom should be managed by no more than six volunteers.

3. Visitors must wash their hands at the beginning of each volunteer session.

4. Volunteers who have  NOT received vaccination for chicken pox, measles and other common childhood illnesses are STRONGLY  DISCOURAGED  from volunteering. 

5. Volunteers should not bring food for patients or for themselves.

6.  Volunteers who wish to bring or donate games or toys must first have the game/toy inspected by hospital staff.

7. Volunteers should not bring dolls or toys with fur or fine hairs that may harbor germs for the children.

志愿者规则

1.患有传染病或其他有可能影响到住院儿童疾病（如流感、肝炎等）的志愿者不能参加活动。

2. 管理每个活动室的志愿者不能超过六人。

3. 在进入活动室前志愿者需先洗手。

4. 强烈建议没有注射过水痘、麻疹和其他常见儿童病疫苗的志愿者不要参加活动。

5. 志愿者不能自己带食品食用或给病人。

6. 自带或捐献玩具或游戏的志愿者必需将自带物品交由医院工作人员检查后才能使用。

7. 志愿者不能带毛皮或毛绒娃娃或玩具，以免住院儿童接触到这类玩具携带的细菌。
