                                                                                Hands On Shanghai
                                                                 Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement 

In connection with my voluntary involvement in activities undertaken for, and with the participation and support of Hands On Shanghai, I hereby release and discharge and forever hold harmless Hands On Shanghai, it’s successors and assigns, and officers, agents and employees, to the largest extent permitted under the laws of the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC Laws”), from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind of nature, whether in law or in equity, which may arise or may hereafter arise from my participation and attendance at such activities with Hands On Shanghai (hereafter known as “the Release”)

I understand that this Release discharges Hands On Shanghai, it’s successors and assigns, and its officers, agents and employees, to the largest extent permitted under the PRC Laws, from any liability or claim that I may have against Hands On Shanghai with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness or property damage that may result from my participation with Hands On Shanghai, whether caused by the negligence of Hands On Shanghai or its officers, directors, employees, or agents or otherwise.

I hereby grant my consent to Hands On Shanghai for the use of any and all photographic images and video and audio recordings made by Hands On Shanghai during my participation in Hands On Shanghai activities including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings.

In signing this Release, I acknowledge and represent that:

A.	I am at the age of eighteen (18) or above, and have full capability to accept this Release.  If I am under the age of eighteen (18), my acceptance to this Release has obtained full permission from my parents or guardians.  My parents, guardians or I will provide written forms of this Release signed by  my parents or guardians, and me to Hands On Shanghai if required by Hands On Shanghai. [FB Comment 2: Online click by volunteers under the age of 18 will not constitute a valid acceptance.  Please make sure to obtain parents’ permission on the volunteer activities in written forms and conduct onsite ID check/registration for all the volunteers.]

B.	My parents, guardians and I have read and reviewed the foregoing Release, fully understand it, and have been offered ample opportunities to raise questions to the Release by Hands On Shanghai before agreeing to it.  My parents, guardians and I accept the Release voluntarily as our own free act and deed;

C.	My parents, guardians and I accept this Release for full, adequate and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by the same.

D.	This Release shall supersede any representation, statement, inducement, agreement, or arrangement between Hands On Shanghai and me before.  
E.	In the event any provision, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of the Release, or the application thereof in any circumstances, is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the Release, or of the application of any such provision, sentence, clause, phrase, or word in any other circumstance.
