Yuying School is located in Yangpu district, founded in 1994, the school has classes from grade 1 to grade 6, Each grade opens a migrant class to serve the migrant students’ needs in the community. The curriculum is different, the students knowledge level is diversified, and their future is kind of vague, the school leverage all resources possible to help the migrant students to step on their own with more confidence and following the rules.
Volunteers need to support the school in conducting different interest clubs and deliver lessons out of the school schedule. All curriculums and events are designed to help the school to improve the education quality and bring the migrant students a broad view of the diversity culture and knowledge, which enables growth and development of student interests and building up their confidence through accomplishment.
Projects are open during weekdays and weekends, we recruit volunteers to be a group acting as teachers or on-site observor. Hands on Shanghai would provide curriculum, training and schedule.
