Marketing & Communications Intern:
Hands On Shanghai (www.handsonshanghai.com) is looking for a 3/4 time intern to assist HandsOn Shanghai with its marketing and communication needs
Open to Local and Foreign students, the HandsOn Shanghai intern will get hands on experience and training from day one as we develop our marketing strategy, build our technology platforms, and create a social media strategy that supports our organizational goals.
Interns will be given a high level of responsibility and training within established international NGO. For persons interested in pursuing a career in the non-profit sector, this will be an excellent opportunity to learn about management of NPOs, developing community programs, pitching corporate programs, and creating efficient back office processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Weekly Newsletter content development and design
- Blog/ SNS/ website management
- Researches and identifies the latest technologies to deliver communications through
- Manages qualitative and quantitative feedback mechanisms and continually refining the communications strategy based on the research
Requirements to become an intern:
- Chinese National with strong English capabilities or Foreign National with strong Chinese capabilities
- Major in marketing, communications, or media
- Outgoing, hardworking, and passionate about helping others.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and Power point)
- Experience with HTML
As training and responsibility for this position will be high, we are only willing to consider interns with ability to work 3 days a week for a minimum of 6 months.
